Phantasy is a weblog written by me. It was opened Feb. 23, 2004 as Light of Dreams and was hosted on FreeWebs.Com (URL: http://freewebs.com/lightofdreams). It moved on Mar. 13, 2004 to Maggie's domain (URL: http://myun.mehve.com), under the name Reminiscence. Name changed to Phantasy on Aug. 1, 2005. Phantasy moved to Annie's domain (URL: http://myun.distant-sea.net) on Dec. 16, 2005 where it remains today.Name
I chose the named Phantasy because it sounded unique and I wanted a unique blog name. Phantasy, sounds like "fantasy" means:1. imagination, esp. when extravagant and unrestrained.
2. the forming of mental images, esp. wondrous or strange fancies; imaginative conceptualizing.
3. a mental image, esp. when unreal or fantastic; vision: a nightmare fantasy.
4. Psychology. an imagined or conjured up sequence fulfilling a psychological need; daydream.
5. a hallucination.
6. a supposition based on no solid foundation; visionary idea; illusion: dreams of Utopias and similar fantasies.
7. caprice; whim.
8. an ingenious or fanciful thought, design, or invention.
